This zine is part of a series where I write about the underlying themes surrounding gender and sexuality in movies that I grew up with. This issue is about Natasha Lyonne’s character Megan from the movie But I’m a Cheerleader, and how the movie used camp and absurdity to to show the separation of gender and sexuality. The zine contains images from the movie, my own writing and digital drawings, as well as the movie’s soundtrack.
